  13. I have just bought a C64 at a very reasonable price - I turned the 
  14. machine on hoping to see the familiar blue commodore screen, but only 
  15. got a grey one.  The computer works perfectly in every other way.  I 
  16. have checked the obvious - cable, TV etc. but to no avail.

  18. Is it likely that a chip is malfunctioning - if so, which is the most 
  19. likley suspect?
